Who We Are
Welfare Group is a global, multi-entity investment holding company operating across real estate, private wealth, and investment platforms. Our portfolio includes Prop.com, a property-focused investment and transaction platform, and WELF, our private wealth and investment structuring arm.
As the group scales internationally, financial ownership, discipline, and governance are critical to sustaining long-term growth. We are currently operating with an interim CFO and a group of external accounting partners, and are now transitioning to a fully internalised finance function. This role is central to that transformation and will become the foundation of the long-term finance leadership structure.
The Mission
Take full ownership of the group’s finance and accounting operations, transitioning the function from outsourced providers to a fully in-house, scalable finance organisation within 3 months. Establish strong controls, clean historical gaps, and deliver reliable, audit-ready financial information across all entities.
This is a hands-on Finance Manager role with end-to-end responsibility—covering operational execution initially, building structure and governance, and progressively scaling into a Finance Director / CFO role as the business grows.
What You Will Do

- Take over operational ownership from external accounting vendors, validating historical data and opening balances
- Deliver consistent month-end close within D+10, with audit-ready accuracy
- Ensure IFRS compliance and clean intercompany accounting and settlements
Internalisation & Build-Out
- Lead the full internalisation of the finance function within 3 months
- Design and implement accounting structures, SOPs, controls, and governance frameworks
- Build the internal finance team over time, starting as the first permanent hire

Reporting, Control & Audit
- Produce monthly management reports, variance analysis, and budget tracking
- Publish aged payables and receivables on a structured cadence
- Act as the primary counterpart for auditors and advisors, including clearing historical audit backlogs
- Strengthen internal controls, documentation, and financial discipline across entities
Systems & Scale
- Drive system improvements, automation, and scalable finance processes
- Own ERP / accounting systems and support tooling decisions as the group grows
- Enable leadership with timely, reliable financial data for decision-making
